Pottawatomi Conservation Area Trail - # 10

Owen Sound

Length: 3.1 kms
Difficulty: Easy
Surface: Hard-packed, tree roots, rock outcropping

Uses: Walking/hiking, cross-country skiing

A walking path crosses a small stream and eventually links with the Bruce Trail. The trail leads the hiker to a vantage point providing a breathtaking vista of Jones Falls, a 12 metre high waterfall. You can follow the Bruce Trail along the Escarpment or hike the alternate trail system provided.  This is an all-season trail--ski trails are ungroomed in the winter.

Access: Parking is available off Highway 6 at Springmount, west of Owen Sound.
