Bognor Marsh Management Area Trails - # 13

Owen Sound

Length: 4 km
Difficulty: Easy to moderate
Surface: Natural, boardwalk

Uses: Walking/hiking, snowshoeing, fishing

A dirt road, boardwalks, pasture trails and Escarpment hikes make up the varied trails of Bognor Marsh. Interpretive plaques along the boardwalk to a lookout tower enhance the educational value of this quiet hike. Then follow the old switchback road to the top of the Niagara Escarpment and watch the turkey vultures as they soar along the cliff edge (note this is a Bruce Trail Sidetrail and is marked with blue blazes).

Access: Parking is available from Grey County Road 18 east of Rockford.
