Beaver River Canoe Route - # 42

Kimberley

Length: 20 km one way
Difficulty: Moderate
Surface: Waterway

Uses: Canoeing/kayaking, fishing

This canoe route begins north of Kimberley and winds its way through open areas and wooded stretches with several views of the Niagara Escarpment, ending at the village of Heathcote. Wildlife viewing opportunities are excellent, as is fishing. Short portages may be required to bypass log jams.

Access: Parking is available off Grey County Road 13 north of Kimberley.
