Upland hardwood forest and conifer plantations cover rugged terrain that provides many scenic views of the surrounding landscape.

1 km of trail groomed for snowmobiling by the Klondike Snowmobile Club, connects to other trails to both north and south. 7 km of cross-country ski trail groomed and track set by Glenelg Nordic Ski Club. (see this page)
Ski User Fee pay box present. Occasional summer use by hikers.

Parking lot at the end of Hamilton Lane. Klondike Snowmobile Club has recently built a clubhouse across from the parking area. Food, drinks and a washroom are available during winter.

Access: Approximately 5 km southwest of Markdale. Take Grey Road #12 west from Markdale, south on West Back Line then follow to road end on Hamilton Lane.
