Hibou Conservation Area Trail - # 7

Owen Sound

Length: 2.6 km
Difficulty: Easy
Surface: Hard-packed, boardwalk

Uses: Walking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fishing 

Interpretive signs along the wooded trails provide information on tree and shrub species, beaver activities, wildflowers, beach ridges, etc. A boardwalk is incorporated into the trail to allow hikers to navigate the low-lying wet areas. A day-use area across the road from the trails provides sandy beaches, swimming and change rooms in summer. Winter trails are ungroomed.

Access: Parking is available off Grey County Road 15.
